(CTI)-Capture the Intel

CTI Capture The Intel

Designed by Flakenstine, Nebual, and NEON725 with input by #Nebtown, as a rendition of base wars with a bit more structure.

Build Phase:

Defenders (Blue) need to construct a base with adequate defenses. Their job is to protect an intelligence briefcase from being stolen.

Attackers (Red) need to construct assault vehicles, breach weapons, ladders, and anything else they may need during the infiltration.

Both teams are in full sandbox mode (noclip, all tools accessible) for this time.

Assault Phase:

Defenders retain their access to tools and spawning, however Noclip is disabled.

Attackers lose all sandbox privledges (teleporting, tools, spawning, noclip) and must make do with what they built in Build Phase. They must attempt to steal Blue's intel, and take it far away from their base.

Both teams can respawn infinitely, and damage is increased.

Assault Phase lasts until the attacker's leader calls off the strike.

As defenders still have sandbox, they are encouraged to construct new defences on the fly to counter the tactics used by their attackers, but as time is short its unlikely they'll put together much.

As attackers lack sandbox, they must make do with what limited resources they had the foresight to construct, or if they have no options left, they should concede defeat for the phase and retreat so they may construct a new tactic.

Loadout Suggestions:

  • Neon's Capture Points E2 briefcases
  • The "NebCruiser" by Flakenstine

  • Nebcorp's SpawnPoint E2 button
  • gm_warzone_v3-1

User created vehicles and defense weapons are encouraged, just try to be fair and fun! A turret immune to namage that cannot be knocked over might be okay if attackers can run past it, but if its directly at the intel thats a bit lame.
