Shadow writes: Ok, so i got my computer back after 2 and a half weeks. i reccomend anyone that has a warranty for a computer to geek squad to either buy a different warranty from your computers manufacturer or something because the Geek Squad service just sucked beyond usual failure levels, they even started to hang up on me because i "asked to many questions".

So after i got my computer back from them replacing the Hardrive&Motherboard they tell me that i only have the bare minimum for the computer, meaning that i have a total of 4 programs on my computer, i bought it with the HP Package. and they try and tell me that i didnt even when i show them the damned receipt. anyway ill be coming back to Nebtown within the week most likely. Hopefully Dec. 31st because thats when im expected to get the restore discs from HP.

 

 

Dr. Formode replys: Hi Shadow. Your  problem is extremely common. To all our readers, I want to let you know that store warranties are usually faily. Especially ones from big box stores, or include "Nerd" or "Geek" in the title. I just want to remind everyone that people employed by such companies usually have terrible self esteem, are 35, and live in their parents basement while fapping to Furry Porn. When buying a computer always get the manufacturer warranty, or purchase from a local store. Why? The Manufacturer will often give half a shit, and the local store knows it can loose it's reputation if it doesn't honor warranties.

On your problem however, I would reccomend going to your local animal shelter small and getting a small dog. Proceed to starve the dog and torture it for approximately 2 days, then tranquilize it, and put it inside of a computer tower. Bring this to your local best buy for service approximately 30 minutes before the tranquilizer wears off. Make sure to give your ex girlfriend's contact information instead of yours. This should fix the problem.

yes... just to add to their horrible failure. My friend and I went to challenge them to see how much they actually know. So we walked into best buy and began asking them general computer questions. They couldn't even answer the easier questions like "How does RAM work?" or even "What does RAM stand for?" ... Do not go to geek squad! They are horrible!
